Easy Lemon Drop Martini Recipe

*Updated July17, 2022*

OK. This is my LAST martini recipe for a while! I’m on a martini frenzy that has only gotten worse after I purchased a cocktail shaker set from Amazon. It’s just all too easy to enjoy a martini whenever I’d like.

For real though. Instead of going to a martini bar near me and spending A LOT of money on drinks, tax and gratuity, I get to sip and chill on delicious martini cocktail at a fraction of the cost. All from the comfort of my home. Now, that’s a win!

It’s summertime, perfect season for this refreshing drink. Plus, I’m binging the hilarious new show, Abbott Elementary, and this cocktail recipe has me just sipping and laughing my summer days away!

Lemon Drop Martini Tips

Always use FRESH lemons!
The liquid stuff in the lemon shaped bottles just won’t give you the great flavor that fresh lemon will. Plus, you can use lemon for garnish to pretty up your martini!

Gin or Vodka?
You can make a martini with either gin or vodka. What’s your pleasure? Gin is a bit strong for me, so this lemon drop martini recipe uses vodka.

Get the Proper Cocktail Making Equipment
I’m telling you, this cocktail shaker is it! I just love it. No more guessing what an ounce. Makes it easy to customize your cocktail.

Sugar Rim the Cocktail Glass
Rimming the glass means sticking sugar to the top of your glass. This provides such an elegant look to the drink. Rimming your glass elevates the martini drinking experience. This is a MUST if you’re hosting.
