Equipment

  • Nonstick baking sheet
  • Brush

Ingredients

  • 1 Bag Gardein Ground Be'f
  • 1 Box Pillsbury Puff Pastry
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Epis Homemade green seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Cook Gardein Ground Be'f per package instructions
  • Season to taste with spices. Be sure to taste be'f as you cook!
  • Cut your puff pastry into individual pieces. You can cut rectangular pieces or triangular. I usually cut triangular pieces as it fits better into my cake stand.
  • Fill the middle of the pastry and fold over.
  • Pinch edges of each patty.
  • Take one egg, add water and mix.
  • Brush each patty with egg mixture.
  • Grease nonstick pan and place patties.
  • Bake at 325 for 25 minutes on the top rack.
  • Remove the patties from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
  • ENJOY!!

Notes

Since the Gardein is meat made from plants - you have to be a little bit more aggressive in seasoning.  Always taste as you go!
